Special duck broth soy sauce ramen|Menya Fukumaru

“Menya Fukumaru” is located between Hatagaya and Sasazuka Stations in Tokyo (slightly closer to Hatagaya Station).
The ramen recommended here is the kamo dashi ramen (duck broth ramen)! There are also a variety of other limited edition ramen, all of which are delicious!
It is only two stops away from Shinjuku station, so if you happen to be in the neighborhood, you should definitely try their ramen.

The menu at this ramen restaurant is truly delicious in every way!
However, if this is your first visit to the restaurant and you are having trouble deciding what to order, the “Tokusei kamodashi shoyu ramen” (Special duck broth soy sauce ramen) is the one for you.
It is a “soy sauce ramen with duck broth” with extravagant toppings, which is one of Menya Fukumaru’s recommendations.
The toppings include one piece of char siu duck, one piece of char siu pork, and one piece of char siu chicken.
For some reason, I don’t usually see customers lining up for this delicious ramen restaurant.
It is a wonder.
But of course, it is the best ramen restaurant and I keep coming back again and again.

The duck-based soup is light and refreshing, yet elegant and deep in flavor. Although it is light, the flavor of the duck broth is so well blended that you will find yourself mindlessly slurping down the soup.

And then there are the noodles! These thin noodles have a good texture and are, of course, a perfect match for the soy sauce soup with duck broth! The onions, green onions, and yuzu (small citrus fruit) peel are a nice accent to each of the particular ingredients, and the dish is beautifully arranged, fragrant, and tasty.

The soup evokes a more upscale and refined Japanese cuisine than typical ramen, and the yuzu (small citrus fruit) and onion add a subtle accent to the dish. In addition, the medium-thin noodles are a perfect match for this delicate flavor, making it a truly excellent dish!

We enjoyed it deliciously. Thank you very much for the meal. Thank you very much.
