Vegan tantanmen|Mensho san francisco

“Mensho san francisco” in Shinjuku is famous as a ramen restaurant with a long line of customers in San Francisco on the West Coast of the United States. It has been selected in the “Michelin Guide San Francisco” as one of the best ramen restaurants in the world.
Ramen is usually made with animal products, but here you can enjoy vegan food.

In front of the entrance of “Mensho san francisco” there is a large touch-screen ticket machine. You purchase a “Vegan tantanmen” ticket from the machine and take your seat.

The restaurant is spacious and stylish. There are many counter seats and a few tables.
After a short wait at the table, the delicious looking “Tantanmen” was brought to us.

At first glance, you would not even know that it was a “Vegan tantanmen” because it looked so “delicious! The “tantanmen” is so “tantalizing” that you can’t even tell that it is a “vegan tantanmen.

Let’s start with the soup.
I was so impressed with the taste that I thought, “Is this soup made from animal products? It may be natural for the restaurant, but it is quite tasty as “tantanmen”.
The noodles are made with less gluten, and the superfood “kyanu” is also kneaded into the noodles.

Next, let’s take a look at the ingredients. The flavor and texture of the soybean meat also goes well with this tantanmen, and it is delicious. Incidentally, I didn’t know it was soybean meat, and when I was eating it, I wondered, “What is this made of?” I was surprised to find out that it was soybean meat. The soup and noodles were so delicious that I ended up drinking all of the broth.

It was called “Vegan tantanmen,” but you don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy this dish.
