Green curry ramen|BASSANOVA Harajuku

I went to “BASSANOVA Harajuku”, the second branch of BASSANOVA in Shindaida, Tokyo.
I like the green curry ramen here and have been to the Shindaida branch several times, so I went to the Harajuku branch as well.

As it is located in Harajuku, “BASSANOVA Harajuku” is very fashionable.

This time, I visited at night, so the shop’s night-time atmosphere is more like a café or bar than a ramen shop.
The ramen I was after was, of course, the “Green curry soba” (Green curry ramen).
The green curry buckwheat noodles appeared a few minutes after we placed our order.

As usual, you first take a sip of the soup.
The soup is smooth and slightly thickened. The green curry with coconut milk and spices is perfectly combined with the Japanese-style broth of pork bone and seafood. As usual, you can’t help but drink more and more. It also has just the right amount of spiciness, so even those who are not so good with spicy food will be satisfied and enjoy it.

The noodles are thick and limp. They have a chewy texture and provide a perfect balance with the soup.
The noodles themselves are also very tasty and, together with the soup, enhance the taste even further.

The ingredients are topped with chicken char siu pork, menma (seasoned bamboo shoots), baby leaf, red chilli, red onion and fried spring onion.
The chicken char siu pork is thick and resilient, and stands out for its meaty quality. The bamboo shoots also have a gentle flavour that blends well with the green curry and enhances the taste of the dish.

The “green curry buckwheat noodles” at BASSANOVA are delicious after all! This ramen reminded me again that “BASSANOVA’s green curry soba” is delicious!
We enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much for the food. Thank you very much.
