Special slow-cooked chicken broth ramen|Ramen Afro Beats
This time I went to “Ramen Afro Beats”. “Toripaitan ramen” (Slow-cooked chicken broth ramen) is popular, and this is my first visit in the hope that it will be to my liking.
The location is a five-minute walk from Shinjuku-Gyoen station in Tokyo. This ramen restaurant is close to the station.
The restaurant has many seats, although only counter seats are available.
I bought a meal ticket for ‘Tokujo Jidori Paitan Ramen'(Special slow-cooked chicken broth ramen) from the meal ticket machine on the right side of the shop at the entrance. After handing it over to the staff, I was shown to my seat. The restaurant is very clean, clean and stylish. After a few minutes of waiting at my seat, my ramen arrived.
My first impression was the beautiful visual! Not many people are so mesmerised by ramen. “Toripaitan” (slow-cooked chicken broth) soup is fluffy and frothy, the soft colour of the rare char siu pork, the deep yellow and white contrast of the ajitama (seasoned egg), the colour of the coarsely chopped spring onions and onions, and the potato espuma.
Start with the soup. The “Toripaitan soup”(slow-cooked chicken broth soup), made from carefully selected local and brand-name chickens, is flavourful and clean.
The potato espuma seems to be included only in the ‘Tokujo Jidori Paitan Ramen'(Special slow-cooked chicken broth ramen). The espuma blends in with the chicken flavour and is the perfect combination.
The noodles are medium-fine and straight. The fluffy soup and espuma intertwine with each other and are truly delicious. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the feast. Thank you very much.
