Special soy sauce ramen|Ramen MATSUI

“Ramen MATSUI” is located near Shinjuku-Gyoenmae Station in Tokyo, Japan, a ramen restaurant that I was curious about because of its good reputation among ramen lovers.
I bought a ticket from the ticket vending machine just inside the restaurant. I ordered “Tokusei shoyu ramen” (Special soy sauce ramen).

After a few minutes of waiting, the ramen was served and looked really beautiful and sophisticated. It is a visual that truly “looks” delicious.

Ingredients include: white onion, japanese mustard spinach, pickled bamboo shoots, wontons, flavored egg, 2 pieces of duck char siu pork, and 1 piece of pork char siu pork.

We first had the soup, a chicken-based soy sauce broth, which was even tastier than we had imagined, with a deep flavor spreading out, yet with a refreshing aftertaste. The flavor of chicken, kelp, and other ingredients are at their best.

The noodles are thin and straight. The noodles are made by a long-established noodle factory in Kyoto. The noodles flow down your throat as they are pleasantly intertwined with the soup.

Since it was a “special ramen,” the ramen was extravagant, with more ingredients than a regular soy sauce ramen, but it was so delicious that I finished it right away.
Thank you very much. Thank you very much.
