Tai niboshi ramen|Men-ya Masamichi
Located just a few minutes’ walk from Ogikubo Station in Tokyo’s Suginami Ward, “Men-ya Masamichi” is a can’t-miss spot for ramen fans.
We visited the restaurant for its popular menu item, “Tai niboshi ramen”(Dried sea bream ramen). We were able to enter the restaurant quickly.
It is simple to purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine at the entrance and present it to the staff.
A bowl of soup enhanced with sea bream and dried sardines
Toppings for the ramen included moist chicken chashu pork, textured bamboo shoots, small chopped wontons, and garnished with green onions and seaweed. These ingredients were in perfect harmony with the gentle flavor of the soup. In addition, the straight noodles had a slightly angular texture that was perfectly balanced with the soft broth. This combination makes for a bowl of soup that gives a deep sense of satisfaction with each bite.
