Located in Asakusabashi, Tokyo, “Motenashi Kuroki” attracts many ramen lovers with its sophisticated atmosphere and high quality ramen.
The compact restaurant, with only 13 counter seats, offers a clean and relaxed atmosphere.

I ordered “Tokusei shoyu soba” (Special soy sauce ramen). After a short wait at the waiting table, I was shown to a seat at the counter. After about 8 minutes of waiting and looking around the restaurant, my ramen was served. The first thing you see is the carefully arranged ingredients and the beautifully clear soup. The passion that goes into each bowl of ramen is evident as you take note of the owner, Mr. Kuroki’s gestures.
The soup is a blend of chicken and pork broth and eight kinds of soy sauce, which gives it a deep and rich flavor. It has a perfect balance of being neither too light nor too rich, making you want to drink it all the way through. Chicken oil and duck oil further enhance the flavor of the soup, giving it a richness that will never get old.

At “Motenashi Kuroki”, you can choose between hand-rubbed and thin noodles. The medium-thick, hand-rubbed noodles have a sticky texture and are a perfect match for the soup. Toppings include pork shoulder, duck loin, chicken breast, and chicken tsukune (chicken meatball). These are cooked at a low temperature to moisten the meat, and the aroma is appetizing. The wontons are filled with a ginger-flavored bean paste, which goes perfectly with the smooth skin. The menma (seasoned bamboo shoots) and daikon radish are also cooked in a Japanese broth and serve to balance the ramen as a whole. The ajitama (seasoned egg) is also warm and well seasoned, and each of the toppings is meticulously prepared.

“Motenashi Kuroki”‘s “Tokusei shoyu soba” (Special soy sauce ramen) is a dish that is made with the utmost care and attention to detail. The owner Kuroki’s passion and skill are evident in his ramen, which leaves a lasting impression on all who taste it. If you are ever in Asakusabashi, be sure to try the Tokusei shoyu soba (Special soy sauce ramen) at Feast Kuroki. You will be captivated by its deliciousness.
