Chicken char siu seasoned egg salt ramen|Menya-Sho honten

At this ramen restaurant, you can enjoy the excellent “Gunkei Ajitama Shio Ramen”(Chicken char siu seasoned egg salt ramen). The beautiful golden broth is truly exquisite.

After purchasing a meal ticket, we sat down at the counter in the back and handed our meal ticket to the staff.
After only five minutes, the long-awaited ramen was brought to us.

Today’s order was the “Gunkei Ajitama Shio Ramen”(Chicken char siu seasoned egg salt ramen). At first, the beauty of the ramen caught my attention.
The appearance alone is enough to convince you of the deliciousness of this ramen.

The first thing that caught my attention was the soup. There is a good aroma of chicken in the air. One sip and the mouth is filled with a variety of chicken flavors. It seems that chicken oil is used for the aromatic oil. The chicken soup is so delicious that you will feel relieved and relaxed after taking a sip. It is the best soup I have ever had.

Next, we will have noodles. The noodles are thin and slightly hard boiled before being served. The straight shape of the noodle is a perfect match with the soup when you bring it to your mouth. The menu listed the noodles as “Kanno Seimen Tokusei”(Kanno noodle manufacturing plant special). It is worth remembering.

The thinly cut topping of char siu pork is a shoulder loin with little fat, roasted after low-temperature cooking for flavor and moistness. Folded in half and chewed, it is a perfect match for the gamecock broth, allowing you to fully enjoy the flavor of the meat.

Then there is the ajitama(seasoned egg), which ranks high on the list of the best I have had recently. The yolk is jelly-like, and the rich flavor spreads as soon as you eat it. The exquisite flavor soaking in is the best. You must order this ajitama(seasoned egg).

The menma(seasoned bamboo shoots) has a nostalgic flavor that is steeped in flavor. Its texture reminds one of the menma one once tasted at a street stall. The crispy texture of the kujo-negi onion(green onions)also gives a pleasant impression.

Next comes the char siu pork made from chicken thigh. It is also cooked at a low temperature, and the flavor of the meat fills your mouth as you bite into it. Chicken thigh meat has a different flavor and texture from other char siu. In addition, there is also char siu that is like a rose meat. Both are excellent.

The noodles are thin and hard boiled. They are also excellent, with a flavor that is strongly imbued with flavor. Although the noodles are hard, you can also taste the changing flavors over time. To add to the delight, more char siu pork is served on the side. The onions also accentuate the richness of the ramen and add a refreshing zing.

Also on the menu at this restaurant is “Shumai,”(Chinese dumpling) which is also a specialty of the restaurant. The Chinese dumplings also have a special flavor, and the meat is very plump and delicious.
