Slow-cooked chicken broth ramen|Nejishiki
“Nejishiki” is a Toripaitan Ramen(Slow-cooked chicken broth ramen) restaurant located a short walk from Hatagaya Station in Tokyo. This ramen restaurant is a hideaway in a shopping arcade. The chic black interior has eight seats at the counter, and the interior coordinates with a cool rock atmosphere! I went to Nejishiki to try their “Toripaitan Ramen”(Slow-cooked chicken broth ramen).
I purchased the “Toripaitan Ramen”(Slow-cooked chicken broth ramen) from the ticket machine, and within five minutes of placing my order, a hearty bowl of ramen was delivered to my table. The ramen is characterized by the bean sprouts that are generously placed on top of the noodles.
Thick noodles with a chewy texture give the ramen its unique character. And the “ajitama” (seasoned egg) is so richly flavored and well seasoned that it is nothing short of delicious.
The essence of Nejishiki’s “Toripaitan ramen”(Slow-cooked chicken broth ramen) is the soup. As you continue to eat, the rich sweet and spicy taste spreads, and the umami flavor is drawn out more and more from the soup. The soup is not only thick, but also has a depth of umami that provides ramen lovers with a true blissful experience.
The soup is made with a chicken base and dark soy sauce. It also contains garlic, but if you don’t like it, tell the staff when you order and they will remove the garlic. Also, the toppings of the flavored ground chicken will surely enhance the taste of the soup when eaten with it.
This ramen restaurant is truly a hidden gem in the city and a hideout for ramen lovers.
We enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much.
