Chicken broth ramen and Chicken and Egg rice bowl|KamotoNegi EATo LUMINE Shinjuku-ten

If you are looking for good ramen in the Shinjuku Station neighborhood of Tokyo, I recommend “KamotoNegi EATo LUMINE Shinjuku-ten”, which is located in the basement of Shinjuku Lumine.
There were several people waiting in front of the restaurant, so we waited in line.
While waiting in line, you purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine and hand it to the staff. This time, I ordered “Kamo ramen” (Chicken broth ramen) and “Nomeru oyako-don” (Chicken and Egg rice bowl). By the way, “Nomeru oyako-don” (Chicken and Egg rice bowl) is a unique menu name; you cannot actually drink it, but it is an oyakodon with a tender egg.
After handing over the meal ticket, I was shown to my seat shortly after.

After a short wait for a seat, the ramen and oyako-don were served. Beautifully arranged ingredients and noodles in a clear soup. The soup is simple, but the taste can be felt from the outside.
First, take a sip of the soup. The flavour is a perfect balance of duck broth and soy sauce, with a hint of sweetness and depth. Despite its appearance, the rich taste of the duck broth reaches your tongue and stomach. The browned spring onions floating in the soup have a sweet flavour and the chopped spring onions have a crispy texture. The noodles are thin and well mixed with the soup.

The side dish “Nomeru oyako-don” (Chicken and Egg rice bowl) is, as the name suggests, a bowl of oyako-don with dashi broth and a tender egg. It is very tasty and doubles your satisfaction when enjoyed with ramen. However, please note that it is not drinkable. This is oyakodon, it is food.

The ramen noodles in duck broth at “KamotoNegi EATo LUMINE Shinjuku-ten” are firstly delicious, and the side dish, a tender oyako-don (chicken and egg bowl), is also very good. It is a rare restaurant where both the main and side menus can be fully enjoyed. Looking around, I felt that there were customers of all ages. This is a ramen restaurant that I would like to visit again.
